- Social Security – Disability
Rebecca C. Padilla has been with Potter Padilla & Pfau since September 2005. Her practice is exclusively devoted to Social Security Disability claims, including representing clients at the administrative level and in United States District Court.
Prior to joining Potter Padilla & Pfau, Ms. Padilla worked for Bet Tzedek Legal Services where she represented clients in Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims and wage and overtime claims. Ms. Padilla has been recognized by the Mexican American Bar Foundation for her excellent leadership and commitment to service within the Latino community. She is fluent in the Spanish language.
Ms. Padilla has served as Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Social Security Section, and has lectured on various disability issues at local, regional and national conferences, including the National Organization of Social Security Representatives (NOSSCR).

Wendy B. Pfau has been with Potter Padilla & Pfau since August 2018 and has been practicing as a disability attorney since 2008. She focuses her practice on Social Security Disability and Employment Law, helping disabled individuals who face discrimination or denial of benefits. She handles Social Security disability cases at all stages at the administrative level and in the United States District Court.
She is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives (NOSSCR) and the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and serves on the Board of Directors of the San Gabriel Valley Lawyer Referral Service (SGVLRS).

Jon M. Argenziano joined Potter Padilla & Pfau in July 2026. He has practiced Social Security Disability Law exclusively at the administrative level since 2007 in large firms, a small firm, and in his own practice.
Before 2007, Mr. Argenziano served as a Legal Services attorney in Rhode Island, representing clients in landlord-tenant and public benefits cases. He later spent 12 years in Massachusetts working in AIDS services as a Financial and Legal Advisor, Public Policy Specialist, and as Director of a statewide legal services program for people living with HIV/AIDS.
